What if Osama Bin Laden was hiding in Mecca?

Our History Class had a small discussion about Mecca and how the only way to get into Mecca is to be Muslim. So, what if Osama Bin Laden was hiding in Mecca? The United States Army couldn’t go in and capture him… If they did (assuming it was unauthorized, unless every soldier going in is Muslim) wouldn’t hell break loose?

Discuss.

Umm the Saudi Monarchy has money on his head too. Osama threatened the monarch directly and was exiled along with the other bin Laden’s that did not formally disown him. He might make into the outskirts of Saudi Arabia but no way would he make into a large city. Furthermore if he was found in Saudi Arabia that would be a good thing because the Saudi’s would dispense justice on him and they don’t have nearly as many rules to follow as we do and could careless what the UN has to say. He would be interrogated, tortured, and killed within days of capture if we find him he gets a trail and a humane dignified death.

How can anyone say Covering Face in Hajj is Fard?

Salam Alaikum..

1) Prophet saw and Sahabah saw a beautiful woman in Hajj and never ordered her to cover face, infact Prophet only turned the face of the man: (Bukhari)

3) Read these Hadiths Supporting Niqab being Mustahab:

Lastly… even those who say that Niqaab is Fard for women… I don’t hear them saying that it’s Fard in Ihram because they are aware of these Hadiths.
@Boycott - I know!… I myself covered my face in makkah when I realised men were looking.. but I can’t Say to people it’s Fard!
@White Horse - They DID Cover their Face!… No one disputes this. I’m talking now about General Muslimas
@White Horse - Read the Evidence you Provided yourself… It said that either it’s Allowed or Muhrimah = My Case that I’m Discussing.
@Ducky - It is BEST to wear Niqaab. But Can I say it is a MUST? That we need Clear Proof for. We cannot say something is halal or Haram unless clear proof/command is given.
@Ducky - The Hadith I wrote about Aisha RA in Arabic: ???? ????? ?? ??????? ???? ????? ??? ????? ?? ????
"Aisha said for a woman in Ihram, to cover her face if she willed"
@??? ????? - Thanks for Understanding… Wallahi this Issue caused me Pain in the Heart!!!… I studied it so much… and I must put knowledge to you now…

** Yes it is the Full Hadith From Aisha RA.
@White Horse - Prophet’s Wives were Different.. Tell me.. Is the Verse about "From Behind a Screen" to All women or Prophet’s wives? sure it’s prophet wives directly. that is the Hijab.

What did His Wives do in Hajj?
Cover their Face with something other than Niqab.

What did other women do?
Either cover or not cover.
Do you deny the Bukhari Hadith and Aisha’s Hadith?

Regarding Slave Girls.. they used to uncover their Hair! Not their Face.. See Omar’s Hadeeth.
Regarding 4 Mathahib… 2 Said it’s Fard. 2 Said it’s Mustahab BUT should Cover when there is Fitnah.

The only reason I bring this up is because we cannot hide knowledge! You know how much this issue pained me? wallahi months and months… no sleep… And now I’m putting it for people to read and take with what rests their heart.

the sahabiyat had alot more freedom than we do now days

http://www.dhushara.com/book/sakina/haj/hajj2_files/hajj1.gif

i know the hajj is a pilgrimage every muslim must do, and they go and throw stones are some thing that they belief is satan, but what are these different sections in it 1-6? im making a powerpoint and probably need to no how to explain it

this is what i think it it, not 100 percent sure if you guys can check it over

1.they change into the pilgrims clothes
2.they walk around the kaaba 4 times and 3 times at a slow pace (dont know why) anybody know why they do that?
3. 8th day of the month they go here and camp overnight
4.9th day they make there way over here and pray
5.collect stones and pebbles
6.10th day they throw pebbles at a large wall that represents satan?

is that right or far from right?

Here’s a detailed explanation of the hajj: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hajj

Pilgrims dress in the special white clothing, and on the first day they perform Tawaf, a circumabulation of the Kaaba seven times. They offer two special prayers and drink from the Zamzam.

Next, they go spend some time at Mina.

On the ninth day, they go climb Mt. Arafat where they hold a vigil, pray, and recite from the Qur’an. This is called wuquf.

After sunset, the pilgrims go to Muzdalifah, halfway between Arafat and Mina, and collect pebbles for the stoning of Shaytan.

Back at Mina, the pilgrims stone pillars (which represent the Devil) seven times.

The pilgrims then perform the animal sacrifices of Eid al-Adha.

The pilgrims have another circumambulation of the Kaaba. The tenth day they go back to Mina, on the eleventh there is more stoning, and they leave for Mecca on the twelfth day.

After the hajj is complete, the pilgrims perform a farewell tawaf.

Ramadan:women should uncover her face in ihram <is that true>?

It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah said: The riders used to pass by us when we were with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in ihraam. When they came near us we would lower our jilbaabs from our heads over our faces, and when they had passed by we would uncover our faces. Narrated by Abu Dawood, 1562.

what do you think…….?
@ i love Allah

since 50 years ago most of Muslim’s women were wear niqab

so what is your reply ??
btw
most of them now do not wear an Islamic hijab should we follow them ??

and do not forget all women of ansr <shabbah > were wear aniqab .

I also heared that face must be open while a women is in Ihram
I don’t know why all of our Muffti and Imam says that not to cover face in the state of Ihram.
I didn’t found any evidence from Quran and Hadith about it. If Allah told to the Womens of Messengers to cover their faces, So may be it must be for all the Muslim women.
I found this information from a website while searching. But there is also not any proved given from Quran and Hadith.

Uncovering the face for women in the state of ihram while performing Hajj or `Umrah is related to the category of `ibadat (acts of worship), which are orders of Allah the Almighty. We believe such acts have infinite wisdom, for Almighty Allah is The All-Wise. He does not order anything unwise, and yet in order for us not to disrespect Allah the Almighty, scholars have classified them as ta`abbudi acts, which means that they are rituals that we must fulfill regardless whether their immediate benefits are clear or not.

Having said this, however, some of the purposes of uncovering the face during the state of ihram for women can be identified as follows:

First, training the soul to surrender to Allah’s commands without questioning His orders, and this constitutes full submission to Allah’s Will. Almighty Allah says: (And it becometh not a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided an affair (for them), that they should (after that) claim any say in their affair; and whoso is rebellious to Allah and His Messenger, he verily goeth astray in error manifest.) (Al-Ahzab 33:36)

Second, the rituals of Hajj and `Umrah are very akin to the scenes of the Day of Resurrection when people will be resurrected naked as they were born. The situation will be too hard for them to pay attention to that. The state of ihram is a symbolic reminder of this Day when everyone will pay no attention save to his own destiny and fate. Similarly, every pilgrim should concentrate only on the rituals of Hajj or `Umrah and empty his mind from every concern save devotion to Allah and surrender to His Will.

Third, during the state of ihram, Allah has commanded men not to cover their heads so that they show utter humbleness and surrender to Allah. Equally, a woman is commanded by Allah to do a similar thing that befits her special status (and particular code of dress) by uncovering her face, not her head.

I am so confused. Are we doing right or wrong to not cover our faces in the state of Ihram??
What shall we do??

About the ehram for umrah…?

We are going on umrah this year inshallah. We’ll be flying with British airlines on a direct flight and so it will be very hard to travel from the uk to jedha with the ehram on for the men. We thought that we could go to aisha mosque first, get dressed into the ehram and make our intentions to travel and perform our umrah from there, islamically would this be accepted?

Knowledgeable answers pls, no opinions.
Also do you know of any good sites to ask an imaam/sheikh?
Thank you!
I’ve just read that you should be in the state of ihram before you enter Meeqat as you have said. So inshallah we’ll leave in our ihram or change before Meeqat, thanks! :)
Salam Alaikum,

You need to be in Ihram before the Meeqat is passed in the Air.
This is because Ihram at the Meeqat is a Rukn of Hajj/Umrah.
So whether he wears his ihram from home, or on the Plane just before they announce the Meeqat, it will be fine insha’Allah.

It is also Sunnah for you to do Umrah straight away after you land in Makkah.
And regarding Masjid Aisha, you can go there to do Ihram if you want to perform another Umrah because that will be your Meeqat from Makkah. (I did this.. it was only approx 20 mins away from al Haram)

Hope this helps Insha’Allah… May Allah swt make this trip easy and accept it from you.

How do I get to go for day trip to KSA and perform umrah from Dubai and return back to Dubai?

I am currently visiting Dubai. I would like to go for ‘day trip’ to KSA and perform umrah, and then go back to Dubai to continue my work in Dubai before leaving back to my country.

As per the legap point of view, no visitor is allowed to grant Umrah Visa from Dubai unless ha/she has permanent (residence) visa. Once you leave the country having visiting visa, you can not enter on the same visit visa, becuase it is only single entry visa.
More information you can get from any travel agency throughout U.A.E.

When preforming Hajj and Ummra is there anything said when someone makes tawa around the kaba?

salaam to all, I have read books on the subject but i can not remember if one says something or not. just wanted to know from u all. thanks salaam.

there is nothing that we should all read in specific. Essentially you can read any prayer during Tawaf rounds. walaikumassalam wa rahmat ullahey wabarakatuhu
