In Islam going against the will of God is considered committing a sin. What you have listed are the 70 general sins according to Sunni Islam. This is an incomplete list - it simply lists major sins. Islam doesn’t necessarily have the concept of ‘7 deadly sins.’ Typically Muslim scholars will list out major sins.

Here’s a detailed explanation of the hajj: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hajj

Pilgrims dress in the special white clothing, and on the first day they perform Tawaf, a circumabulation of the Kaaba seven times. They offer two special prayers and drink from the Zamzam.

Next, they go spend some time at Mina.

On the ninth day, they go climb Mt. Arafat where they hold a vigil, pray, and recite from the Qur’an. This is called wuquf.

After sunset, the pilgrims go to Muzdalifah, halfway between Arafat and Mina, and collect pebbles for the stoning of Shaytan.

Back at Mina, the pilgrims stone pillars (which represent the Devil) seven times.

The pilgrims then perform the animal sacrifices of Eid al-Adha.

The pilgrims have another circumambulation of the Kaaba. The tenth day they go back to Mina, on the eleventh there is more stoning, and they leave for Mecca on the twelfth day.

After the hajj is complete, the pilgrims perform a farewell tawaf.

If the shoe were on the other foot, would an apology be enough?

A Muslim magazine, "Al Islam" sent two reporters undercover. These reporters then attended Mass and took communion, followed by spitting out the consecrated host and taking pictures of it with a bite out of it. The magazine has since apologized.

While I’m certainly not advocating Christians acting like Muslims, can you imagine if the shoe were on the other foot? Imagine the Vatican newspaper, "l’Osservatore Romano" sending a Catholic undercover to take part in the Hajj, knowing that only Muslims are allowed within Mecca.

What do you suppose the repercussions of such an act would be? Would it be good enough if the publisher simply said, "We’re sorry", or would there be rioting in the streets?
hor" Which actions were met by a few innocent Americans having their heads lopped off. Thank you for making my point. When one insults Christianity, expect a letter to the editor. When one insults Islam, expect a verrrrrrrrrrry close shave.
joker: One cannot be racist against a religion, but thanks for playing…and BTW, not answering a question is a violation.

The Vatican would be wiped off of the map and it was COMPLETE ignorance for the newspaper to do such a thing. Do not make a mockery of one religion because you do not agree with the practices. If you have enough faith in your own religion, why do you feel it necessary to push it on others who believe just as strongly in their own faith? I am by no means racist and have defended many Muslim people who were under scrutiny, but this has gone too far.

If the shoe were on the other foot, we wouldn’t be reading about this incident on YA. It would be a major story all over the world on all the major networks. Katie Couric would be wagging her finger and frowning about the insensitive Christians, oi vey, and there would probably be riots by Muslims and Leftists. A few "evil Christians" may have been attacked as well — like Jews were attacked in Europe while the Israel-Gaza conflict was going on.
