Details on performing UMRAH.?

Brothers and Sisters…
Inshallah, I will be going for my 2nd Umrah shortly, along with my aged mother…
As its difficult for her to walk… I am thinking of using a wheel chair for her and perform umrah…
what I want to know is, if I push the weelchair for her during tawaf and sai, and keep praying myself while pushing… will it be counted as umrah for both of us or I have to first complete tawaf and sai for my mom and then perform my own umrah… also please tell me about few sites where in I can get these informations…
Jazakallah Khair…

Insha-Allah may u complete ur umrah. Ameen. U don’t have to do separate Tawaf. Ur mom can’t walk but she can recite the prayers for herself and u for urself.

islam dream, can u interpert this for me ?

i was sleeping in the musjid and i had this dream. I was in the the Haram walking through a crowd of people. it was the usual: ppl wearing white, makin Tawaf, and then i was near the Qaba and looked up and saw it. It was the most beutiful experience in all my 16 years and i was overwhelmed when i saw it. it was like i was really there , didnt feel like i was lookin at a picture or somethin and then it ended. can u plz give ur opinion on this in the light of islam

It is a funeral procession. You are making your way to find God, but the path you have chosen has lead you to a wall. You got so close, yet never attained it.

Ramadan: Inspired Q: Hajr Aswad:-Btw Prophet Muhd and Umar, who told the truth?

Prophet Muh’d has said in the Last Day the Kaaba-situated Black Stone ( al-Hajr al-Aswad ) would get eyes and mouth in the presence of Allah to defend those who venerated it in the World; but Umar said it can neither benefit nor harm any. And Muslims are fond of quoting Umar to prove that Hajr Aswad is not an object of idolatry. So, between Muhd and Umar, who is Islamically telling the truth?

Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 26, Number 667:
Narrated ‘Abis bin Rabia:
‘Umar came near the Black Stone and kissed it and said "No doubt, I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit anyone nor harm anyone. Had I not seen Allah’s Apostle kissing you I would not have kissed you."

TIRMIDHI
"It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah said concerning the Stone:
"By Allah, Allah will bring it forth on the Day of Resurrection, and it will have TWO EYES with which it will see and A TONGUE with which it will speak, and it will TESTIFY IN FAVOUR of those who touched it in sincerity."

Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 26, Number 673:
Narrated Salim that his father said:
‘I saw Allah’s Apostle arriving at Mecca; he kissed the Black Stone Corner first while doing Tawaf and did ramal in the first three rounds of the seven rounds (of Tawaf).’

Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 26, Number 682:
Narrated Ibn Abbas
The Prophet performed Tawaf of the Ka’ba riding a camel, and every time he came in front of the Corner (having the Black Stone), he pointed towards it with something he had with him and said Takbir!!
@?à??? Neytiri,
My dear you worship only one Black Stone which is in Kaaba where you face during your daily prayers. You therefore don’t need any other Black Stone

Muhammad the teacher and Umar the student. Muslims follow the teacher.

If indeed Muslims did worship the black stone, as you sublimely imply here, then there would be a black stone in every Muslim household and in every mosque.

But since you cannot find such a thing, then you become the liar.

What are newly invented matters and what is the meaning of this?

This comes from the statement of the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam): Beware of newly invented matters. [1] This refers to every innovation people do in the religion of Islam, whether that innovation is in belief or worship etc. All of which is neither from the Book (of Allaah) nor an established Sunnah from the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam). Yet they take these things as religious practice and beliefs, worshipping Allaah with them, claiming that they are lawful when they are not. On the contrary, such acts are prohibited innovations. Examples include calling upon the righteous, be they the dead or the living who are not present. This includes taking graves as places of worship, making Tawaf [2] around them, and seeking help from their inhabitants, or the belief that they can intercede for them with Allaah, or lobby Him on their behalf in order to have their requests granted or to relieve them of their troubles. Honouring the birthdays of Prophets and righteous people as holidays and celebrating on them. They perform deeds they claim will bring them closer to Allaah - especially in the day or the night of the birthday or even in that month. There are many other such things, too numerous to mention, be they innovations or superstitions for which Allaah has revealed no sanction and which have not been confirmed by the Sunnah of Allaahs Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam). Thus, it is clear from what we have said that some of the newly invented matters are Shirk, like seeking help from the dead and swearing oaths to them. Others are simply innovations and do not reach the level of Shirk, such as building over graves and making places of worship over them, so long as excess therein does not lead to actions which would be considered Shirk.

No, sister. there is no such thing as ‘bid`ah hasanah’. To make it somewhat short, suffice to address what those people tend to refer to in forwarding this false concept - the narration from `Umar, may Allah be pleased with him.

Firstly, when we talk of bid`ah in this context, we mean bid`ah in Islaam - that is, innovating in the Religion. What is not meant is innovation in worldy matters - such as airplanes, etc.. Based on this, the saying of `Umar does not condone innovating in the Religion, as the matter he was referring to was FROM THE SUNNAH. Notice the capitalized words - not intending for shouting, rather for heavy emphasis. The matter of taraweeh was something from the Sunnah, and hence `Umar did not intend to legitimize that which is known to be evil. So there is no room for anyone to try forwarding an interpretation that twists the intended words of `Umar, thereby seeking to legitimize that which has been clarified as evil
Furthermore, the Sahabah, may Allah be pleased with them all, did not come with anything new. It is not correct for a person to believe that whatever any person says may be followed blindly - other than the following of the Messenger of Allaah, `alayhis salaatu wassalaam. As Imaam Maalik, may Allaah have mercy on him, said: “There is no one among us whose opinion may be rejected except the occupant of this grave” meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Bismillah

Dear Asker
Inventing a new religious practice which is not found in the sunnah of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) whether good or bad amounts to putting a step ahead of Beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). :)
Any addition to Islam & Sunnah after the death of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is invalid. :)

I had dreamt many years ago that i am performing the hajj pilgrimage. also i perhaps saw heaven and hell.?

What does Tawaf mean in Hajj?

Tawaf (????) is one of the Islamic rituals of pilgrimage. During the Hajj and Umrah, Muslims are to circumambulate the Ka’bah (the holiest building in Mecca) seven times, in a counterclockwise direction.[1] The circling is believed to demonstrate the unity of the believers in the worship of the One God, as they move in harmony together around their central shrine, while supplicating to God "Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik".

According to Islamic tradition the Tawaf of the Ka’bah is a depiction of the Tawaf that runs above the Jannat al Firdaws in the seventh heaven where the Arsh (Allah’s throne) is situated. Angels do Tawaf continuously around the Arsh. The Tawaf of the Kaabah should make it easy for humans to understand the reality of Tawaf around the Arsh.
