Why is it so easy to go to Hell?
Shave or trim the beard - go to hell.
Miss a prayer - go to hell.
Disobey your parents once - go to hell.
Don’t shave your head during Hajj - go to hell
Don’t wear the Hijab - go to hell
Sometimes, I feel that Islam is a strict religion and leaves us with no choice. If we do not follow even one of the Prophet’s (Peace be upon him) acts, we are doomed for ever. Questioning too much is not allowed. Refusing is not allowed. Choosing your own way is not allowed. Getting scared of the world around you (because of which you may not want to follow or do something) is not allowed. We have to change ourselves for the Shariah - all its rules, whether we like them or not. The Shariah will never change for us.
I know that Islam is a flawless religion, and obeying its rules will only give us pleasure, but it’s strict. If it’s so easy to go to Hell, then who will make it to Paradise? No one? Why can’t we choose our own ways in some cases?
Also, how can one gain Allah’s pleasure? Why is it so hard to do this? Why does Allah get displeased so easily? Has the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) made life harder for us with all those extra rules? What do you feel? Speak your heart out, please.
May Allah forgive me if I’ve said anything wrong. I have no intention whatsoever to insult Islam or our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). May Allah guide us all to the straight path.
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu.
I don’t think so.For the limits of the permissible are broad, and are quite adequate for man’s desire; there is no need to trespass on the forbidden. The duties imposed by Allah SWT are light and few in number. To be the slave and soldier of Allah is an indescribably pleasurable honour. One’s duty is simply to act and embark on all things in Allah’s name, like a soldier; to take and to give on Allah’s behalf; to move and be still in accordance with His permission and law. If one falls short, then one should seek His forgiveness.

People major the minor, that’s why they easily succumb to things that lead them to sin (and hell)

Not true!
where did u get that from brother?
they are sins but no one said u will go to hell for doing them..
Allah (s.w.t) is most forgiving, most merciful..
Allah is Most Gracious and Most Merciful. He says in the Noble Qur’aan, ‘Oh My Slaves! Do not despair. Verily Allah will forgive all sins.’
In one Hadith, Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) is reported to have said, ‘If a person has sins equivalent to the foams of the sea and pebbles on a desert, Allah’s mercy is so encompassing that He will forgive every sin.’ In another narration, it is mentioned that Allah will speak secretly to one of His slaves on the day of Qiyaamat and remind him of all his sins. After the person will confess his sins, Allah will say to him, ‘I concealed your faults in the world, today too, I will conceal your faults. Go in Jannah, I have forgiven you.’
The above mentioned are few of many Ahaadith explaining the extent of Allah’s Mercy. However, Allah says, ‘Verily Allah will not forgive a person who ascribe partners (commit Shirk) with Him.’ The only sin that is unforgivable is Kufr (disbelief) and Shirk (ascribing partners). Accepting Islam is the only atonement for the sin of Kufr and Shirk.
If one fulfils the conditions of repentance, i.e. regret and make firm intention to reform, then surely Allah Ta’ala is Tawwaab (Most Forgiving)
and Allah Ta’ala Knows Best

Life is like an exam. It is very easy to fail an exam if you don’t put the effort in. Likewise, heaven requires effort just like how passing an exam requires effort (revision).
Allah (swt) doesn’t expect us to be perfect, but he does expect us to try to do our best. Our best is all we can do. Allah (swt) does NOT want us to go to hell. This is why he has given us the Quran to warn us and guide us, so we can go to heaven and avoid hell.
Allah (swt) gets pleased easily. When you pray he is pleased with you. When you fast he is pleased with you. When you give zakat, he is pleased with you. Even when you SMILE at someone, he is pleased with you. On top of that, he repeatedly says in the Quran that he will forgive and overlook your sins if you repent.
Each surah in the Quran begins with "In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful"
Salaams.

You lack Faith.
The one who has Faith doesnt poses such Q’s,
If you wish to choose your own ways, go ahead, it’s your wish.
Now see, Not wearing Hijab - Can be a subject to rape and sexual assault.
Not obeying parents - Whose parents ask their children to do something wrong? (Wait until you become a father - You won’t realize until when your kids disobey you - You would be the first to say them ‘Go to Hell!’ in anger….
It’s not difficult to gain Allah’s pleasure. Not at all difficult…Your Q requires a long answer, but i’m not in a mood to type it now.
One thing I think abt you is that you do not offer 5 time prayes.
Offer Salat regularly and sincerely so that you may know what Islam is. Don’t just be a Muslim by name of by saying ‘Insh’Allah or As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu’…
Be a Muslim by your acts.

Do you think that a loving, compassionate God/Allah would condemn you to Hell for trimming a beard?? Is that love? Of course not! God/Allah only wants us to do our best. He knows we are human, and therefore fallible, and accepts us as such. Hell is used by people to control us. It is intended to incite fear in all of us so that we, as a flock, are easier to control. that is wrong. Frankly, I do not believe in Hell as we tend to imagine it. I believe in something more complex than that. But I know that I am who I am, I do my best to be a good person even though I know I have faults, I know that, because I try, and because I love Jesus, God accepts me unconditionally. He would never want fear to be the reason for my relationship with Him - he would prefer that I do it out of love.

Oddly enough, Islam is around six hundred years younger than Christianity.
Around six hundred years ago, Christians were not only being told they would go to hell for all sorts of trivial things, they were being tortured and murdered by other Christians for not conforming in exactly the way that particular sub-sect insisted was correct.
It may just be a stage in the evolution of a religion.
Wa alaykum as-salaam.

Psychologically and Islamically speaking, it is not hard to do what He has told us to do. Our nafs inside of us that are hard to control and tamed. And in return, the brain are guided by nafs to do bad things or to disobey or whatever that is restricted. God never does something that is non benevolent to His slave. Whatever He has told us to do, it is within our reach. Only that we are obstructed to do it by our nafs.
All of us were born pure, including pure hearts. And that will be smeared or dirtied by our parents or guardians that guide us to live life accordingly so that we can have His blessings. So, if we were given the tawfek or are taught nicely by our parents, we will be able to care for ourselves even though we cannot totally have pure white hearts, but at least can will help the brain to control/discriminate our nafs to be obedient to His laws. That’s why they say hearts are the sovereign of all organs. I remember one hadeeth that said" If your hearts are good, all your organs/body are good". Sorry I can’t state here in detail coz I forgot the real translation.
That’s why muslims are urge to purify their hearts with "Istihgfaar" and surrender. So that we know WHO we are and obey the religion without feeling restricted cause we are doing it out of sincerity from the heart, =D rather than otherwise, becoming ugly with humility and opposing God’s decision and forgetting who we are.
So, don’t be so narrow-minded by thinking that Islam forbids this and that. Islam never forbids fun after responsibility. Only that, there will be a borderline to certain extend, so that we won’t go beyond limits and act worse than a pig, who always know WHO they are as an animal…! =)

Assalamualaikum (Peace be upon you)
Actually it’s not as Allah’s mercy is far greater than His punishment. People make it seem like you going to go to Hell for every small thing but Allah wants to forgive us.
And Allah knows best
May Allah provide us with guidance
Salaam

I think you are mistaken the rules of Sharia. Almighty Allah knows human are sinners as he created Shaythan to be with us to check our value how we maintain ourselves with the worldly matter.
If you are a employer, you expect good outcome from your employee, because you are paying daily, weekly, or monthly.
Such a way, Almighty Allah prepare Janna to pay your labour for the task assigned for you. If you want to maintain your value to get good outcome, you must show your reputation at your work.
The things you listed above, if we missed some rules, there will be hell waiting for you. But if you read the rules with peace of mind, you will find how much relaxation mentioned in it.
Every step you walk to perform prayer to the mosque, you gain ten benefits as well as ten sins will be washed away. If you perform five times prayer properly, walk to the mosque, define how may sins and mistakes washed away?
Every years we have the holy month of Ramadhan. How much benefits you gain for the deeds you have done and are going to do! You will have great reward here and hereafter for the every penny you spend for poor.
We can find more and more his mercy and forgiveness upon our good deeds.
Dont put yourself distress thought of simple things with the punishments. Forgiveness is His great reward to human. If we forgive others may ALLAH forgive us several times of sins what we have done.
Islam is a great religion but the way we understand the thing find in Islam may be mistaken.
It is easy, has mercy, forgiveness, and great reward.
