how muslimeen can go hajj if… ? (ramadan)?
Assalam Alaikum
I don’t know with other country, but each year Indonesia sent at least 200.000 Muslimeen to Makkah, ironically some of their neighbors still life in poverty, and sleep in hunger.
I am not questioning the Hajj it self, it is obligation from Allah, but, do we have to be selfish?
just for information, Hajj from here cost at least $3000, more than a year standard of wealthy-people’s salary. and some people can only make less than $50-$100 a month.
will Allah reward us if a muslim do Hajj but forget his/her neighbors.
wassalam alaikum

Good question,but Islam have a clear answer…
Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam ,before comes Zakat(compulsory charity) as 4th.
If you have more money than your needs ,you compulsory donate it to whom deserved….so the problem solved.still you are have enough money ,then the fifth step Hajj.
The Hajj is only compulsory who have wealth ,health and free from commitments..
If you have a brother or sister ,or anyone under your protection who are in poverty ,,,you have to take care of them,or arrange their care before you go….
Islam is never make mistake…it is from the almighty God…..

Wa aleikum as-salam wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu.
By the standard that you’re suggesting, no one could ever go to Hajj, because there are always needy people. What would be more helpful for them would be for you to make du’a for them at the Ka’aba, petitioning Allah SWT to make their life easier for them.

One should help his neighbors if possible. But helping neighbors should not make any obstacle to perform fard prayer.
( By the way, I found people from Indonesia are very nice during Hajj, they always move in groups and very quiet and calm. So you should go there more at least to show other, how to be such nice

Yeah, I thought about it. Why pay so much to connect to "god"?

Quran imposes no prohibition on Hajj on the grounds that you mention. Quran only requires that zakat be paid.
