If the shoe were on the other foot, would an apology be enough?

A Muslim magazine, "Al Islam" sent two reporters undercover. These reporters then attended Mass and took communion, followed by spitting out the consecrated host and taking pictures of it with a bite out of it. The magazine has since apologized.
While I’m certainly not advocating Christians acting like Muslims, can you imagine if the shoe were on the other foot? Imagine the Vatican newspaper, "l’Osservatore Romano" sending a Catholic undercover to take part in the Hajj, knowing that only Muslims are allowed within Mecca.
What do you suppose the repercussions of such an act would be? Would it be good enough if the publisher simply said, "We’re sorry", or would there be rioting in the streets?

The Vatican would be wiped off of the map and it was COMPLETE ignorance for the newspaper to do such a thing. Do not make a mockery of one religion because you do not agree with the practices. If you have enough faith in your own religion, why do you feel it necessary to push it on others who believe just as strongly in their own faith? I am by no means racist and have defended many Muslim people who were under scrutiny, but this has gone too far.

Well, that’s why in Muslim countries, they still rely on the death penalty quite a bit.

Keep in mind that no apologies are necessary if we simply don’t care what the muslim reaction is. But the stinking media would make a big deal out of it.

Muslims are ignorant. They only thing that they are capable of understanding is a good head-punch! I’m so sick of them and hearing about them; I have zero patience for them and just wish that we could ship every one of them back to one of their own countries and build fences around them.
