How do Muslims Spiritually prepare to Hajj?

Hello, I have homework and I need to explain how Muslims spiritually prepare when they go to their journey to Hajj in Mecca. Please help me! I really don’t know, I tried searching on Google but nothing useful came up. Thank-you if you help me! x

prepare a ritual and pray everyday..??? isnt it that simple?
