How does one know if their hajj is accepted by Allah swt?
I know it’s all about niyaat (intention) but do we not find out until the DOJ?
Also, how many of you plan to do Hajj at a younger age or sometime soon?
Assalaamu alaykum sister,
I would say generally, the acceptance of any deed done depends on the intention and the following of the sunnah. Ie, that you do the act of worship purely for Allaah azza wajal and in accordance with what he loves (ie, the manner in which the Prophet (saws) did it, as Allaah taught him what He loves)
Perhaps that is the answer to your question.

YES ITS ALL about intentions as u mentioned….
u go there for the sake of ALLAH so do everything according and as told.
also i think ur inner feeling when u have finished Hajj although im sure alll feel good…if u think urself have u performed it in the best way possible …BUT ALLAH KNOWS BEST.
No one can judge…but u can pray that ALLAH ACEPTS IT:)

salamulaykoum
I guess its always just about intentions, and just keep doing the key thing….DUA
inshaAllah. Just keep praying taht every good deed u do for Allah ta’ala gets accepted [amin].
umm inshaAllah i wana go as soon as possible but we can’t go anywhere or do anything really any time soon, lol , so khair inshaAllah, whenever Allah ta’ala wills, then I’l go. InshaAllah I would really like to go when i’m young and active still. But if I have to wait till old age, then I’ll keep waiting! As long as I know that my intentions are there inshaAllah.

You have to shave your head for that.

Simply, we do not know, and we should not assume that it is or won’t be accepted. We can only try to perform the Hajj in the best and most correct manner as it should be, and surrender our hopes to Allah S.W.T. and supplicating to Him that our deed may be accepted.
I do not know or have any proofs to back this up, but I think that another important role that plays in the acceptance of one’s Hajj is one’s own decision on how he/she should be after going through the most soul purifying and life-changing event in your life.
Alhamdulillah, I’ve performed the Hajj three years ago. I wish to perform it once more later in my life if Allah Wills it, Insha Allah.

it explains in the last or second last sentence (click control + F, then search ‘accept’…and u shuld find the sentence Insha’Allah)
anyway, as most said: Only Allah Subhanhu wa Ta’ala knows. just do it whole heartedly and with pure intentions and lots of duas Insha’Allah
Insha’Allah soon after i get married if i’m alive until then…Insha’Allah
Alalh Subhanhu wa Ta’ala knows best

Young Joker has a good point, I don’t see you going their anytime soon. It means sacrifice of a major kind. Your barber will charge you only half price though, because you are already half bald. Ha.
Edit, What does DOJ (Department of Justice), has to do with this. Are you talking about airport security or some like that.

It will be determined on the DOJ (Day of Judgment), whether your intent and subsequent behavior was consistent with your intent. Intent, people have, but subsequent behavior is the issue. Reason why people like to go when they are older is because they beleive the days of committing sins are over.
Many people can go several times, but even those like to go only once because, coming back once and committing sins again and going back for another Hajj, may not count as much, regardless of the intent. In situation such as this both, behavior and intent are important.
The fundamentalists will tell you one can die anytime, so you should not wait; they are just trying to make it difficult for you, the remainder of your life. The problem is rarely, what if you die tomorrow, the chances are people living today (in US), will live to be about 80 or more.
In your case and like others have pointed out, wait until you are much older and when your HEAD is more clear and you have become incapable of committing anymore sins.
