Is it haram to have shares in an Israeli armaments and munitions corporation?

I had never considered this point before and am most concerned. Were it haram to own these shares, would it also be Haram to sell and realise a profit on them?

    Well of course it is haram to own corporate shares dedicated to making war on Islam and the Muslims.
