Hajj (A Muslim’s Pilgrimage to Mecca) Question?
I am doing a project on the Hajj and I was wondering about two things:
What are the Tawaf-e-Ziarat and the Wuquf-e-Arafat?
I imagine they are some kind of prayer, but all I could find on them was that they were two of the three (along with the Ihram) tasks that must be completed to validate your Hajj.
Thanks in advance! (:
So it’s just another name for the circling of the Kaaba?
There are two Tawaf (going around of the Ka’ba) when first arriving and then leaving
- Wuquf or standing at Arafat is the last day where you make supplication till sunset on Mount Arafa

Good luck with ur project..
Tawaf ====> circling Kaaba
done three times in hajj 1- Ziarat: at the start of the visit
2- Ifada: main one
3- wadaa: goodbye one
Wuquf arafat=======> standing on the plain of arafat mountain
the main practice of hajj
A great key to understand hajj…i highly recommend them
