Assalamualaikum

Beautiful analogy, may Allah reward you for this.
We can never know with certainty who is truly right and who is truly sincere, only Allah has knowledge of such, that is why we should leave the judging to Allah and not go around committing something close to Shirk by doing Allah's job and openly declaring others as Kaafir especially when they say they Muslim and have uttered the Shahadah, so who are we to judge.
We can express disagreement and concern but let Allah ultimately be the Judge as He is the All-Knowing not any of us mere mortals.
I'm a Unity Fan (for Sunni, Shia, Sufi, Muslim unity) and I consider myself Muslim only (neither Sunni nor Shia nor Sufi)

And Allah knows best
May Allah forgive you and I if we've uttered any wrong here
May Allah provide us with guidance
Salaam
References :
As far as I know there is no specific colour for the Ihram (two piece seamless garments for men) but preferably of white color.

It is not necessary for the clothes to be white. If a man wears other colors—so long as they are not sewn—then there is nothing wrong with him and his Hajj is valid. But nowadays almost all the men wear white and one who wears any other colour may look odd.

Also, the color is not a condition in the case of women’s clothes. Women are to wear their ordinary clothes but they are not to cover their faces nor wear gloves.

Some say that one of the symbols that mark such a change is the clothes of ihram, which, with its white color, reflect the inner whiteness and purity of the heart of such person. Though the color is not a condition in such clothes, it is still preferred that they are white
References :
Of course the color is white.

It's the same color and the same ihram used by christians who have sneaked into Mecca to view Hajj; the same color and the same ihram used by the qadianis, too. That doesn't mean that they're Muslims.

"Only Allah who may judge whether we right or wrong."

Who told you this? Have you never heard of the shari'a?

We can and do judge every day people in accordance with the instructions of Allah SWT and of His Holy Messenger Rasulullah Muhammad SAW.

There's a REASON why no shi'a are allowed to lead salat at the Holy Kaa'ba.

Of course, in the end only Allah SWT knows whether we were right.
