Muslim use a three to four inches wide belt over their lower unsewn garment they wear on to their waist for lower body.
This belt in available in Jeddah and Mecca. I has pockets inside to keep documents, money and keys etc. Usually the garment never falls off because of that belt if that is your concern. I have done Haj and lots of Umrahs when I lived in S.Arabia for two years.
References :
A belt.
Belts, are seamed. During the state of Ihram, one is not suppose to have anything that have stitches. However, belts are one of the things that are forgiven if you used it to tie your Ihram.
Same thing as killing dangerous animals such as snakes and insects. You are allowed to do that if it harms you during the state of Ihram even though you are forbidden to kill when you are in Ihram.
