How do the people at Mecca know you’re a Muslim?
Since only Muslims are allowed in the city of Mecca, how can they tell if you’re a Muslim or not? There have been instances where non-Muslims have entered Mecca. Thanks.

Honestly, it doesn’t matter if you’re a non-Muslim and wants to go there. People won’t know but God will know. The thing is, Muslims go there to perform their Haj, which is a series of activities and events that they have to complete. Muslims will also be dressed in a certain way and one that non-Muslim would clearly not know how to dress unless they went for the Haj course. It is simply your presence and how you act there, people would clearly differentiate you as a non-muslim. As for instances where non-muslims have entered Mecca, do you know about their fates?

Muslim converts (presumably those without Muslim names on their passports) need an Islamic certificate notarized by an Islamic Center.

They check your ID cards or passports, driving licenses etc. Any one who can arrange a fake identity can enter Makkah.
The idea behind banning non Muslims is that Makkah is a holy place and non Muslims do not abide by the rules of cleanliness that Islam imposes upon its followers.

Many people are allowed to come there because Islam is open to anyone woi is willing to believe.But people know that you are a muslim by your face and the way your emotions ……….well burst
