I think the rumor about Gen. Pershings answer to terrorism is the way to go. His soldiers supposedly soaked their bullets in pig blood and put an end to any chance of them getting their 72 virgins. Pork bombs over Mecca sounds like an idea to me.

Actually, I don’t hate the idea. I’m more scared of losing my life and/or my family and money than I am scared of losing alliances with other countries…BTW, I’m a liberal, and I respect Muslims, but the Muslims who are innocent aren’t trying hard enough to stop the f*cking stupid nonfundamentalist terrorists who bastardize true Islam. We really do need to send them a wake-up call, but this method should be saved for last.

I do not subscribe to the "do as I say, not as I do" approach in international relations.

Also, as Gary mentioned, bin Laden is neither present nor welcome in Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore, such an action would produce a violent and prolonged response that would make 9/11 look like a third grade basketball game.

It’s a nice little feel-tough fantasy, but a bad idea all around.

Well, it seems like you have the "give them a taste of their own medicine"approach.

It think it could work, BUT it will NEVER happen because America wants to win the hearts and minds of basically ALL nationalities, so bombing muslims holy city, defiantly wouldn’t do that.

Also, that would be consider a "war crime", America defiantly wouldn’t knowingly violate a War crime, because we hold ourselves to a better standard. So us using their tactics won’t happen, as we care about our prestige to much to ruin everything the country has worked for to ruin it in a few days.

As fun as it would be to blow up their stupid little holy place, even threatening to do so would throw many of the animals into a rage, blowing up schools and churches and such. I think the better way to go about it would be sort of a compromise..... we get out and stay out of the middle east (since we can not win over there, and it would make them happy) but if they ever attack us again we completely level a randomly chosen country of theirs overnight. Bin Laden is probably dead any how.

although i think bin laden has been pushing daisies for years,since terrorists only understand violence,Mecca should be on the list for destruction…first we should explode a nuke outside of mecca,and see if they want to escalate…i am sure they would miss that rock they worship…

for those that say bombing does not work,…they should ask the Japanese and Germans how well it works…
