the earth wil swollow mecca one day that is one of the signs of the day of judgment.. but the real muslims will go along wit it.. the ones that stay they r muslim that have no knowledge of islam at all they well go to mecca n say i remember our parents used 2 come here but i dnt know why.. the kabah will stay here untill the end of time alhamduillah

It is true that the 2 sacred cities will never see a “natural” disaster till the end of time as it has been promised to the Muslims.

By the way some of the replies are extremely biggoted or at least childish…… grow up.

There are good and bad people in all communities, groups, countries, and religions ….

There have been many “terrorist” attacks from “Christian IRA-Spain-South America” “Hindu - India” “maoist - India” —terrorists—- over the last 3 or 4 decades, IRA in Ireland are a Christian organisation who have killed hundreds of people in Northern Ireland and mainland UK, the bask sepratists in Spain were responsible for many attacks (Christian) but were NEVER reported as “Christian terrorists!

So why such hatered towards the near 2 BILLION Muslims?

The western media has coined the phrase of “Islamic terrorist - or Muslim terrorist” because of the actions of a very few…. maybe less than a 1000 people from the near 2 billion …. yet they have never declared the IRA CHRISTIAN TERRORISTS….why not? The Maoists in India have burned train loads of people yet no one calls them Maoist terrorists…….WHY?

Seems like there is an agenda to try and defame Islam and Muslims, in recent decades Islam has become very popular with western people who have studied and embraced Islam…..and all of a sudden we are told to believe that Islam is a bad religion, Muslims are terrorists….. only to try and defame Islam to kerb the fastly rising numbers of westerners converting to Islam……..

Yet Islam preaches unity, brotherhood, peace, tollerance totally opposite of what the anti_Islam bregade wants you to believe.

Research for yourself and find authentic traditional teachings of Islam, you will come to realise that Islam is a just and peaceful religion for Muslims as well as none Muslims.

Come to think of it, I’ve never heard of a natural disaster that even touched Mecca or Medinah. And the one I did read about right now said that no one was hurt at all. Honestly if something happened to the Kabbah in Mecca, I would think it was a test of my faith. And a really strong test. Its been over 1400 years, and the Kabbah is still as good and new. I believe that Allah will protect it. But if something were to happen to it? I would question it, I’m not going to lie I think my faith would get shaky, but I believe that I will still believe in Allah. And merely take it as a test.
But honestly, have you ever heard of something happening to Mecca? Anything at all?
It is said in a hadith or maybe something else, that when the Dijal comes (or Antichrist) he will try to get into Mecca and Medinah but won’t be able to because an Angel will be protecting the city/cities. And an earthquake will shake all the non-believers out of the two cities and only leave true believers. And the Dijal won’t be able to get through and torture the people who don’t believe him.
That is the only time I will be scared of the earthquake. But for now, I highly doubt that it will happen. I believe Allah is protecting those cities, I mean you never hear anything with natural disasters happen over there, and its next to volcanic rock. Thats truly a miracle from God.

I’m a Christian and by no means a Muslim.

But I think this question is sick. It’s another hypothetical.

Personally I would feel bad what an important and sacred site Mecca is.

Here below in religiousfacts.com are listed Islamic Sacred Sites besides Mecca. I’m sure those sites would rise in prominence.

It’s just a piece of land on a certain geographical location…nothing mysterious or spectacular about it.

Only our minds make it mysterious and spectacular ( that is if you choose to believe )

So for instance, if Israel flooded, where would God’s chosen people go next? ……Most likely Miami or New York.
