Alhamdulillah…I am already muslimah and I did not read your entire writings because I already am muslim but decided to write to you and say "assalamu alaikum". Also, people do not call us bad names because we are not all bad people. We are just worshiping our God and trying to make it to paradise. If Allah wants you to be a follower you will and not then you will not. Whatever Allah wills is and what Allah wills not is. So please no arguing or being mean please. May Allah soften the hearts of those that think negatively towards our religion and wash away their prejudice attittudes. Ameen.

Sorry I couldn’t read all you wrote. it’s too long winded. really you’re religion can be as beautiful as any other…after all it is the same God. (Like you say there is but only one God).
It is also ugly as other religions in attempting to justify killing, even after God told Moses "thou shalt not kill". God didn’t say ‘unless you don’t like him!’ God didn’t say ‘kill him if he’s Christian’, or ‘kill him if he’s Muslim.’ I wouldn’t want to be Muslim. Here’s why:

It is lead by men, for the benefit of men, and war. The men
and their imam don’t live as the Koran teaches at all..I know people aren’t perfect, but hey they should try.
I’ve been in the middle east, and generally in the public, men are extreemly rude to women. Unless of course it is a wealthy woman. The less education the worse the behavior. This happens in the US too. However Muslim men learn to behave better here at least in public, because they know they may go to jail.
Many Muslim countries lead by men treat women and girls worse than animals. No education or even medical needs is given to them. They suffer. And yes we know women and girls are sold here and in many parts of the world. Islam has not made the world a better place for anyone, especially women.

Finally, politics and religion don’t mix. History has prooven that long ago. I prefer to remain uninvolved in such an idea.

I suggest you just be as good to as many people on earth as you can. Don’t worry so much about the side you’re on or HOW you worship God. God put us here to nurture one another. so do it.

This verse sounds like Christian thoughts to me. First the Islam: And whosoever desires a religion other that Islam, never will it accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who are lost." (3:85)

Now the Christian: Whoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have eternal life.

Now, let me see, what other religion sounds like these two….

If I accepted Islam, I will go in Allah’s heaven but will be cast into the Christian hell. However, if I accepted Jesus, I shall have eternal life but Allah will not accept me and in the Hereafter I will be in the ranks of those who are lost.

Can I choose none of the above?
