Allah SWT know best but Sahih Bukhari Arabic-English Volume 9 hadith number 468 and Volume 7 hadith 573 sets out that one of Islam's greatest tragedy took place..

When the time of the death of the Prophet approached while there were some men in the house, and among them was 'Umar Ibn al-Khattab, the Prophet said: "Come near let me write for you a writing after which you will never go astray." 'Umar said: "The Prophet is seriously ill (hizyan- mentally incapicitated), and you have the Qur'an, so Allah's Book is sufficient for us."

The people in the house differed and disputed. Some of them said, "Come near so that Allah's Apostle may write for you a writing after which you will not go astray," while the others said what 'Umar said.

When they made much noise and quarreled greatly in front of the Prophet, angered he said to them, "Go away and leave me." Ibn 'Abbas used to say, "It was a great disaster that their quarrel and noise prevented Allah's Apostle from writing a statement for them.

---------------------------------

Some have highlighted that this would be contrary to the Surah Najm 53:2 "Your companion (Blessed Prophet SAW) does not err, nor does he go astray".

Muslim (Volume 9, Book 92, Number 405) records that Ibn Abi Mulaika related that Abu Bakr and 'Umar were on the verge of destruction (and that was because): When the delegate of Bani Tamim came to the Prophet, one of them (either Abu Bakr or 'Umar) recommended Al-Aqra' bin Habis At-Tamimi Al-Hanzali, the brother of Bani Majashi (to be appointed as their chief), while the other recommended somebody else. Abu Bakr said to 'Umar, "You intended only to oppose me." 'Umar said, "I did not intend to oppose you!" Then their voices grew louder in front of the Prophet whereupon there was revealed: "Lift not up your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor shout when speaking to him as ye shout one to another, lest your works be rendered vain while ye perceive not." (HQ 49:2)
References :
Nope

And among men is he whose speech about the life of this world causes you to wonder, and he calls on Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the most violent of adversaries. And when he turns back, he runs along in the land that he may cause mischief in it and destroy the tilth and the stock, and Allah does not love mischief-making. And when it is said to him, guard against (the punishment of) Allah; pride carries him off to sin, therefore hell is sufficient for him; and certainly it is an evil resting place.

No bro. Never.
I just bow before logic.

@ deedat: I am waiting to be down with my "mashroo"
Then by discussing with you, maybe you can add my name to your list! (God may help both of us being objective, open-minded, away of undue intolerance and truth seeker)
References :
Logic seeker
