The Hajj and Eid al-Adha

Yesterday marked the end of the Muslim festival Eid al-Adha, or “Feast of Sacrifice” - which also marks the end of the Hajj, the annual Pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. One of the pillars of Islamic faith, the Hajj must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by any Muslim who has the ability to do so. This campaign aims to inform our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters about the incredible Hajj Pilgrimage as well as the Eid Al-Adha celebration.

Please respond to this campaign by including in your video (A) factual/historical information about Al-Hajj or Eid Al-Adha, possibly also including the Hajj procedure, or (B) sharing a personal experience from Hajj. This could be your own journey, or a family member’s or even another brother or sister in Islam.

If you have any other ideas on presenting your video, the they are more than welcome, Insha-Allah.

Even if you can’t find the time to make a full-length video, a short Eid greeting-card style response videos to other Muslims similar to the Eid Al-Fitr campaign are most certainly also welcome. Whatever you can do to participate is encouraged, and Insha-Allah, we all hope to see great responses.
