The bible provides many details about the coming Antichrist that jibe with this. However, the Bible is the original source--why refer to something written hundreds of years later? The Bible warns that it is the complete word of God and nobody should try to add to it or take away from it. Revelation 22:18 says: I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.
