Can I just first of all say, no-one here on YA I believe can interpret dreams. Even scholars can’t interpret dreams.

If you want an interpretation of your dream, you must go to a scholar who is learned in that field.

Each and every dream can have a whole different interpretation, even the same dream can have 10 different meanings. So those who say they have such books, these books are only for you to read, and mistily get a rough idea of your ‘own’ dreams, but I can assure you, it’s never accurate. So don’t be interpreting dreams for others’ by using these so called spurious books.

I think that it could only mean good. Serving the Prophet (SAW) could perhaps mean doing some sort of religious work. As for the man I think that this has something to do with a spiritual guide because religious work without a guide can amount to doing more harm than good.

The Prophet (SAW) before embarking on teaching people spent a lot of time in seclusion meditating and perfecting himself. Spend some time late at nights alone and in secrecy praying. Keep this personal and do not make a show of it. Ask Allah in all humility to help and guide you. Place your trust in Him and ask him to show you the way. May Allah help and Guide you towards HIm.

There is a hadeeth that says that (in my translation)
He who sees me in his dream sees me on the day of judgement
He who sees me on the day of judgment will get my shafa3a
He who receives my shafa3a drinks from my 7ood (spring of kawthar)
He who drinks from my spring will not enter Hell fire
