Is its normal for a well to keep producing water for thousands of years?

I read about this well in Saudia Arabia beside "the Kaba" which is like the holiest place in Islam. "Zamzam Well" they call it.
This well has been around and producing water non stop since 2000 BC..

Is it geologically normal for a well in such desert to keep producing water all this years?

Yes, it’s normal. As long as the well is properly constructed and in the right conditions, a well could produce water indefinitely.

If the groundwater supply is consistent and efficient, yes, it is quite possible. Even though the surface is desert-like and may appear dead (fluvially), groundwater can be quite abundant, keeping a well flush with water.
I would say, geological normal? No, not usually. Because even though four thousand years is a short time geologically speaking (compared to the age of the earth), it’s more than enough time for drastic climate change, and surrounding landscape alteration. Those are major factors when determining the replenishment of groundwater.
